Are you ready to embark on a a full-day E-bike Champagne tasting tour from Paris? Short train ride from Paris, after prepare to be delighted by beautiful villages and vineyards while riding onwards to the birthplace of Champagne where Dom Perignon set the way for making champagne as we know and love.

Meet your guide in Paris at Gare de L’Est train station. Soon after, (approx. 1 hour 20 minutes) you’ll arrive at the beautiful city of Epernay where you’ll be fitted to your E-bike. Minutes later we’ll be in the vineyards riding along and appreciating the access paths and cycle paths through various villages enroute to the birth place of Champagne! You’ll visit a small producer with an intimate cellar tour learning every detail about the process. There are no scripted tours, every question you have is what makes these visits special. A robust tasting where you’ll not only enjoy the wines, as well as learn how to appreciate the nuances between the various champagnes tasted. Lunch will be had at a breathtaking picnic area overlooking the entire valley *weather permitting. A short visit at the church where monk Dom Pierre Perignon lived while working the wines developing the basis for Champagne.
Beyond Hautvillers you have the choice of visiting a large producer such as Mercier or Castellane, or a multiple tasting while touring the picturesque Grand Cru village of Aÿ! Then return to Epernay to ride up the famous Avenue de Champagne, sighting the world’s famous brands Pol Roger, Perrier Jouët, Moët et Chandon, and more.

Departure is at 8:36 a.m. Gare de L’Est (Train Station) 75010 Paris, France. We will meet at quay 24 at the huge clock in the waiting area. Please be there at least 20 minutes before the tour departure.
Pick up your e-bike and get ready for a fabulous day riding around the vineyards. Home to Moët & Chandon, Pol Roger, Perrier Jouët and more, all on Avenue de Champagne hiding some 100 million bottles!
Champagne has 38ooo hectares or around 78000 acres of vines. Impressive vues be sure to make some pictures at the viewpoints. Ride across bike paths and quiet streets to Cumières, Premier Cru village.
For most the best part of the tour is a complete tour of a small producer. Here you’ll learn everything there is to know before a large sampling of excellent champagnes.
The birthplace of Champagne where Dom Perignon, and Dom Ruinart rest. Visit the church and feel the energy of the true center of where it started. A beautiful small church that was restored by LMVH the owners of Moët et Chandon. Lunch at the picnic area overlooking the valley an incredible view point, or in a restaurant depending on weather.
The prettiest village that few get to see, home to Bollinger, Deutz, Henri Giraud, Brun, Ayala, Gosset and many more. A must see.
To understand the volume of the big producers and their 100km of tunnels you’ll be amazed at your visit of a big producer. It could be Moët & Chandon, Mercier, Nicolas Feuillatte, or another depending on availability .
